Once dinghy sailors have reached RYA Level 2 there are various modules to develop skills in line with interests.  DWSC offers these modules either through courses or individual tuition, as required.

SEAMANSHIP  2 days (0930hrs to 1630hrs)

This aims at increase self-reliance and decision-making skill and also provides instruction in sailing theory, capsize recovery and meteorology. 

12/13 May        25/26 August

SAILING WITH SPINNAKERS  2 days (0930hrs to 1630hrs)

This course will provide the knowledge and skills needed to rig and sail a dinghy with a spinnaker to enhance the boat’s performance and increase your enjoyment.

23/24 June         28/29 July

RACE TRAINING DAYS - £64
An opportunity for novice or experienced sailors to develop their dinghy racing skills and discover a whole new fun-packed and thrilling side to their sailing.
