Once you are able to sail independently having completed basic courses and developed your skills through the improvers' scheme, you will be able to join the Invicta Sailing Club. For a modest annual subscription you will be able to enjoy sailing every Saturday afternoon and Wednesday evening from May onwards.  Sailing and racing is on an informal basis to encourage everyone to join in.  Members are expected to be self-sufficient in sailing and boat-handling. Youth members may need parental assistance.

Membership entitles you to discounted boat hire and reduced rates for all Centre courses.  We encourage youngsters and adults to join Invicta; it is how we train and develop our staff and it enables novice sailors to develop their skills alongside the more experienced. Invicta also has a strong social side to its activities and participates in large events such as the Dover Regatta and the Dover/Calais Festival of Sport.
