Dover Water Sports Centre is taking part in the FoneAid mobile phone recycling campaign. For every mobile phone, of any age and condition, donated, FoneAid will give the Centre £3, plus an extra £100 of vouchers for every 100 phones we collect. The mobile phones are then either sent to developing countries for reuse or recycled. Chargers and manuals are also welcomed but not necessary.
Principal of the Centre, John Hope, said, ‘Many of us have an old phone lying in a drawer. This campaign is great because it helps the Centre and helps others as well’.
If you would like to support the Centre in this way, you can take your old phone to the Water Sports Centre on the Beach opposite the Churchill Hotel or to the office in The Basement, 3 Waterloo Crescent, Dover.
